Here's a little about the artist who is teaching the class:
A physical therapist by trade, Joy Petty has always possessed a deep passion for art. As a child Joy dreamed of being an animator for Walt Disney. Although life took her on a different path, in the past few years Joy has returned to her passion by learning to paint with oils and various forms of media. She now enjoys experimenting with acrylics, modeling paste, joint compound and oil paints. Joy has also found artistic outlet through "Paint N Pour" parties which she began conducting in September of 2009.
